RSVP: HS HEALTH STUDENTS & PARENTS ALCOHOL & OTHER DRUGS WORKSHOP: TUESDAY 15th MAY 6:30-8:30

Dear Parents and Students,

We are delighted that prevention specialist Brenda Conlan will hold a
special workshop for HS Health students and parents on *Tuesday, 15th May, 6:30
– 8:30pm*. As previously discussed during parent conferences, *students are
required to attend* this session with a parent to explore the topic of
alcohol and other drugs.


The format of the evening promotes dialogue between teens and parents
regarding alcohol and other drug use issues. Students will not be in the
same discussion room as their own parents. Our first semester workshop
proved to be a great evening with very open and candid conversations.

1st May, as we will need to organize the groups in advance.


Light food and drink will be provided starting at 6:15, particularly for
students coming directly from sports to ASL so that they will have
something to eat. We will meet in the Commons.
