> How Do I Get There? The Office of College Admissions is on the first floor of Rosenwald Hall, located on UChicago’s main quadrangle just west of University Avenue at 58th Street (see map above). Rosenwald is the second building on the left as you enter the quadrangle from University Avenue. Maroon and white flags mark the front entrance. Be sure to check in with the student greeter when you enter Rosenwald Hall. Our website includes directions for reaching campus by car, by public transit, and more. We recommend navigating using our directions, as online maps can occasionally be inaccurate.
>
> What Should I Expect from My Visit? The information session lasts for one hour, as does the campus tour that follows. You’ll hear about student life and academics at UChicago, as well as information about our application process. The tour is subject to variance due to weather and other conditions, but often includes stops at academic buildings, an athletics facility, a dormitory lobby, and a student life building. Note that due to occupancy, campus tours do not stop inside dormitory rooms; however, you can explore all of our residence halls on our website or on the College Housing website.
>
> Where Can I Park? As in any large city, parking can at times be difficult to find. If you are driving to campus, please allow at least 30 minutes to find a parking space and walk to the Office of College Admissions. The University also has a pay-to-park visitor garage at the intersection of 55th Street and Ellis Avenue. Street parking, both free and metered, is also available throughout campus and the surrounding neighborhood of Hyde Park.
>
> How Can I Cancel or Reschedule? You can make changes to your registration by clicking here, or you can contact us at 773.702.8650 or collegeadmissions at uchicago.edu.
>
> Where Can I Learn More about UChicago Before My Visit? We’re glad you asked! Our website contains a wealth of information about UChicago, including details about academic programs, campus traditions, and more. You can also view current publications and brochures, check out our Tumblr, or peruse our YouTube channel.
>
> Any Suggestions for Exploring Chicago or Hyde Park? Certainly! The “This is Chicago” (PDF) brochure highlights some of our favorite spots in this incredible city, including the Art Institute, the Lincoln Park Zoo, and Wrigley Field. And we can’t imagine a better setting for UChicago than the neighborhood of Hyde Park, home to many bookstores, coffee shops, restaurants, architectural gems, world-class museums, and a perfect lakefront park. Check out these Hyde Park attractions for suggestions. Be sure to tag us in your posts and pictures with #UChicagoVisit, or use the hashtag to check out what other visitors have been up to.
>
> Who Can I Contact Regarding Special Accommodations? Individuals with disabilities or special needs who would like assistance should contact Meghon Pinto to request an accommodation. She can be reached at meghon at uchicago.edu or at 773-834-4228.
> If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 773.702.8650 or collegeadmissions at uchicago.edu. We look forward to meeting you!
