Since graduating from MIT, Ryan Robinson '17 has launched Conduit (https://www.conduitcomputing.com/?utm_source=Newsletter+Mailing+List+2018&utm_campaign=beac018b26-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2018_04_04&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_e8c603942d-beac018b26-296414913#introduction) , a startup that aims to develop more efficient methods of producing blockchain, the complex secure technology behind Bitcoin. Ryan says he uses the skills he learned as a humanities and engineering major every day to move between the worlds of business and technology—especially the skills he learned in his literature courses which taught him how to share information in a way that connects with an audience. "My MIT education has shown me that in a world so filled with technology, we have to make sure that we make room for humanity."
