At Vanderbilt we welcome students from across the globe. In fact, the university's mission of teaching and discovery depends on the contribution of diverse perspectives both in and out of the classroom. 

Vanderbilt is home to over 6,900 undergraduate students and 5,900 graduate students from across the globe. International students make up 8.8% of the undergraduate population and are supported by a variety of organizations including International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) <https://www.vanderbilt.edu/isss/?utm_campaign=ISS2&utm_source=slate&utm_medium=email>.

With over 420 student clubs and organizations on campus <https://anchorlink.vanderbilt.edu/organizations?utm_campaign=ISS2&utm_source=slate&utm_medium=email>, students are continuously engaged in the community at Vanderbilt. International and cultural clubs include Vanderbilt Global Perspectives, Alliance for Cultural Diversity in Research, and Vanderbilt Chinese Scholars and Students Association, among many others. Students can choose to participate in any of the undergraduate clubs and are encouraged to start clubs of their own.

Programs include full-year, semester, Maymester, and summer experiences.
