Important Reminders: Meetings, Camp College and more ...

Hi Everyone,<br />

It's your last first day of high school!  Wow!  Did you ever think this day would come?<br />
<br />
A couple of reminders:<br />
<br />
1.  <strong>If you haven't signed up for Camp College, please do so. </strong> We have important things to do, including synching your Common App with MAIA.  This is an important and vital part of your application process.  If you CANNOT attend, you must make an appointment with me asap.  Please email me.<br />
2.  <strong>Camp College:</strong>  10am-4pm on Sunday, Sept. 1st in the Learning Commons.  You do not have to stay the whole time.  Lots of fun and some work!!<br />
3. <strong> Don't forget to sign up for fall testing.<br />
4.  It's time to schedule your final Family Meeting - please do so asap.</strong>  These meetings must be finished by the end of September.  Email me some times that work for you and your parents/guardians.<br />
5.  <strong>I will be away September 12-16th in the US </strong>for the celebration of my husband's life.  I will try to be on email as much as I can, but not on the 13th and 14th.<br />
<br />
<em><strong>Finally, don't forget that I AM HERE FOR YOU.  Anything you need - reassurance, proofreading, advice, chocolate, space, tissues, a high five, counsel, silence - I am here.  We will all get through the next few months together.  No-one should feel alone, no-one should feel unduly stressed.  Love and support each other, talk about lots of other things with each other besides college applications, and celebrate EVERYONE's plans and ambitions.  Be kind, be kind, be kind.</strong></em><br />
