Very Last Minute College/University Reminders - and a poem. PLEASE READ

Dear Seniors,

Almost there!!

Please note these final reminders before the holidays begin:

*1. * *CAMP COLLEGE ON MONDAY AND TUESDAY WILL BE IN THE AACC OFFICE. * We
will be here from 8:30am onwards to help you. If you would like to set up a
specific time to meet with your college counselor, just e-mail directly and
we can set up a time.

*2.  MAKE SURE YOUR COLLEGE COUNSELOR KNOWS OF ANY ED2 DECISIONS *as there
is a form that we have to sign and submit.

*3. **MAKE SURE THAT YOUR MAIA LIST (Colleges Applying) IS ACCURATE AND
THAT THE REQUEST TRANSCRIPT BOX IS CHECKED.*  If it isn't, your materials
will NOT be sent.  This applies to ALL colleges, not just U.S. ones.

*4.  ALL SCHOOL PAPERWORK FOR COLLEGES/UNIVERSITIES ON YOUR MAIA LISTS WITH
DEADLINES UP TO AND INCLUDING JANUARY 7TH WILL BE SENT BY DECEMBER 18TH.  *This
is why you need to check and update your MAIA now.

*5. UPDATE MAIA WITH DECISIONS ASAP.*

*Hang in there, everyone ... and just for fun ...*

'Twas the day before Friday
And all through the halls
Seniors were studying
And climbing the walls

The deans were so busy
The counselors too
Awaiting results
And decisions so soon

Essays were flying
And being cut down
Those pesky "Why" questions
Bringing so many frowns

And up until midnight
Or 1am or 2
The screens were ablazing
As anxiety grew

And then there were cheers
But for others some tears
As decisions were rendered
On portals they appeared

For others still waiting
More deadlines were looming
And holidays beckoned
And counselors were pushing

And then came the 17th
All seniors were done
Everything was ready
And now for some fun

So seniors, finish up,
R&R awaits
We want you to rest
And happily vacate!

21st and then from the 28th-30th.
