Greetings from Georgetown University's Office of Undergraduate Admissions!

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions released Early Action decisions  last week and is looking forward to Regular Decision review. With a deadline of January 10, 2020, there is ample time for you and your school counselor to complete your application and submit all of the supporting materials (transcript, letters of recommendation, and test scores). 

As a reminder about our testing policy, Georgetown does not participate in score choice for standardized testing.  Additionally, while we do recommend the submission of three subject test scores, they are not required to complete your application. To complete this recommendation, candidates may submit SAT Subject test scores or Advanced Placement (AP) scores or a combination of the two. Finally, while test scores are an important element of our application review, these tests should not create a barrier for applicants. Standardized tests represent only one factor in our holistic admissions process.

Georgetown is committed to maintaining a level playing field in our admissions process. Therefore a limited number of students were admitted through Early Action to ensure an equal chance of admission for Regular Decision candidates. A majority of the places in the Class of 2024 are offered to candidates through Regular Decision each cycle.
