We hope you will take this valuable opportunity to meet and conference with
many of your child’s teachers. Our goal is to support excellent
communication regarding your child’s performance and progress in school and
to learn from you.



*Important information about our format for parent/teacher conferences*

Consider attending conferences near the start of your session in order to
give yourself plenty of time to meet with teachers. Parents/guardians will
have the opportunity to speak with any (or all) of their child’s teachers
for up to 10 minutes each.

All conferencing is unscheduled. If a teacher you wish to see is
conferencing with another family when you arrive, you may wish to:

1.   wait in the seating area near that teacher until the teacher becomes
available

2.   leave that teacher and go to another teacher who is free

3.   leave that teacher and go to a teacher who has a shorter line,
returning to the original teacher once that line has shortened.



You should be able to meet with all of your child's teachers, but in order
for this to happen, we need to keep individual conferences to under 10
minutes. If a conversation requires more time, we encourage you to arrange
with the teacher a follow-up email, a phone call, or an appointment to
continue the dialogue.

You may attend parent/teacher conferences at any time during the sessions;
however, arriving toward the end of a session will severely limit the
number of teachers with whom you will be able to conference. If you have
two or more children in either the Middle School or the High School, please
allow enough time to meet the teachers of each child. Please note that high
school conferences are for parents and guardians only and students are not
expected to attend.
