Dear Parent:

Congratulations on  your teenager’s  selection to the Varsity Swimming team.  

As you may know, your athlete’s involvement means that you are now a member of the Booster Club.  Since the principal aim of our club is to support the Athletics Department, we will depend on your voluntary participation for this fall season to be a successful and rewarding experience for our athletes and coaches.    

We are currently looking for Team Leaders for each sports team.  Their role is to facilitate the communication and coordination between the parents of athletes and the coaches.  They also encourage parents to support their teenager’s athletic endeavours.  Typical tasks include:
Setting up a snack rota for practices & games if suitable
Reminding athletes to organise coach’s gift
Sending friendly reminders to parents about upcoming games | matches
Please email us ASAP if you are interested in the role.  We have prepared a document for you to share with your parents.  It contains all the relevant information you need for the duration of the winter season.
