GETTING SOHO VACCINATED: A huge thank you to the wonderful NHS staff and our incredible volunteers for running a very successful pop-up coronavirus vaccination centre in the heart of Soho earlier this week. The event saw us give out 1,102 doses of the Pfizer vaccine, and 123 shots of AstraZeneca. Both first and second doses were given and the event saw a visit from the MP for Westminster, Nickie Aiken (https://westminster.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a50c8b0dd980669ef713b4cca&id=02a26b0f3d&e=7e37558eca)  (pictured above).

These tests give results within one hour and help us to control the spread of coronavirus. LATEST STOPS FOR THE VACCINE BUS: Our coronavirus vaccination bus is just one way we’re making it easier for you to access your COVID-19 vaccine. This Thursday and Friday, the vaccine bus will be stocking doses of the Pfizer vaccine. Thursday will see it outside the Sainsbury’s supermarket on Cromwell Road in Kensington and Chelsea, while on Friday it will be at St Patrick’s Church in Soho Square. The vaccine bus will operate from 8am to 12pm both days. TAKING ACTION TO END MODERN SLAVERY: Modern slavery is not new, it is happening here, in our neighbourhoods and communities, and can affect anybody regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.

Working with the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, as well as charity partners, we have produced the Modern Day Slavery & Exploitation strategy (https://westminster.us1.list-manage.com/track/click?u=a50c8b0dd980669ef713b4cca&id=a77deb589a&e=7e37558eca) to demonstrate how we are committed to taking responsibility to end modern slavery in both boroughs, and how we can all play a role.
