Grade 12 lunch with the Class of 2022
“It will all be okay!” This was the earnest message that a panel of ’22 alums conveyed to Grade 12 students on 15 December—a day when some seniors were awaiting news of university admission and others were feeling anxious about approaching their final semester of high school. But nerves were calmed and smiles were broad during this Q&A and Chipotle lunch in the Learning Commons. The alumni office recently received a heartfelt letter from former teachers Richard and Louita Clothier P ’79 ’81 , who are enjoying retirement in Lamoni, Iowa. The Clothiers initially taught music in the High School; Richard was later appointed as the high school assistant principal, and Louita started the orchestra program. “We have wonderful memories of London and ASL,” Richard wrote.

This distinguished alumna is a bestselling author, activist and CIA veteran whose memoir, Life Undercover , was selected as a notable book of the year.
	* After graduating from UC Berkeley, Rohan Prasad ’18 moved to Taiwan to teach English and continue his study of Mandarin, which he began in middle school at ASL with world languages and cultures teacher Ting-Chi Li ( ASL 2010-present). 	* Keiron Windless ’22 is enjoying his post-graduate year at Spire Academy, a sports performance training and education academy in Ohio, where he is a point guard for Spire’s basketball team. He hopes to play collegiate basketball next year.
	* In December, John and Becky Edwards paid ASL a visit with their Eagle kids, Jake ’19 and Rita ’22. The family recently relocated from Boston to New York, where Jake is studying at NYU and Rita is a new art business graduate of Parsons School of Design.
