One year ago, a new administration was elected to Westminster City Council. Since then, we’ve been listening to residents and have published our Fairer Westminster strategy. Some of the things the council has delivered over the last year include (https://www.westminster.gov.uk/year-delivery) :
* launching a £14m cost of living support strategy
* introducing free school meals for primary pupils
* focusing on providing more truly affordable social housing

CELEBRATING THE CORONATION IN STYLE: Westminster took centre stage last weekend with street parties across the city celebrating the Coronation of King Charles III. The city looked amazing as the world looked on thanks to our street cleaning crews who kept everything spick and span throughout. A huge thank you to all our teams that worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly. NIGHT STARS VOLUNTEERS: Cllr Aicha Less, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Communities and Public Protection has issued the following statement about the arrests of three Night Stars volunteers over the weekend (https://www.westminster.gov.uk/news/updated-statement-night-stars-volunteers) .
