To connect more deeply, we need to see and understand each other. And yet we humans don't do this well. So many of us feel invisible, unseen or misunderstood.

At this special event, renowned author David Brooks will explore how we can create deeper connections. He'll introduce the most important skill at the heart of any healthy relationship: the ability to see each other - to help people feel valued and understood.

David will share a hopeful, integrated approach to relationships, drawing on ideas from psychology, neuroscience, history and education. He'll explore questions like: what kind of conversations should you have? And what parts of a person's story should you pay attention to? This will help you become more understanding of others and discover the joy that comes from being really seen.
