Like so many of you, we have been following closely the news from Israel during this unprecedented and difficult year. Though these are uncertain times, our commitment to celebrating Jewish books, culture and ideas remains unwavering.

During the past 12 months, our team has been engaged with a variety of new digital, literary and educational initiatives. Just this week we announced an exciting new partnership with the Wingate Prize (https://wingate.org.uk/literary-prize/wingate-prize-and-jewish-literary-foundation-collaboration/) , while the latest highlights from our year-round event programme featured Howard Jacobson in conversation with Rabbi Shlomo Levin and a four-part online course in Modern Jewish History (https://jewishliteraryfoundation.co.uk/the-jews-and-the-crisis-of-modernity) with Trudy Gold.

Next week we hope you can join us for both Responses to October 7 as Julia Neuberger, Anthony Julius, Linda Maizels and David Hirsh reflect on the tragic events of last year (sold out but check for returns (https://www.jw3.org.uk/whats-on/responses-7-october)  and a recording of the event will be made available later this month) and the inaugural Jewish Literary Foundation Conversations event No Road Leading Back (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/no-road-leading-back-the-ponary-massacre-tickets-1026756415077?discount=JLFSUBSCRIBER)  at Bloomsbury's Swedenborg House as Chris Heath and Mark Glanville discuss a Holocaust crime the world forgot, challenging how we present history. And of course, we are busy preparing for Jewish Book Week 2025 at the beginning of March.
