I will try to keep this short since there are a number of very important announcements below. <br> <br>First, like I said in our class meeting last week, I would encourage you to start to actively reach out and get to know your teachers in a deeper way. Ask questions. Listen. Engage in interests outside the classroom. Ask about how they found their purpose, what their path was. Talk with them about the connections you see to the outside world. <br> <br>Secondly, one of the ways you become more adult is to commit to communication more carefully. Please start to attend to and read email with an eye for detail -- as “ancient” a technology as it is, it is still the tool by which you will need to communicate with adults in a formal way.<br><br>Last, I leave you all with this article I read over the weekend.
