This has particular resonance for us in Westminster as the body of the Unknown Warrior was brought from France to Victoria Station and from there followed a ceremonial route through the streets of Westminster, to be interred in the Abbey “amongst the kings and queens”.</span></span></span><br><br>

For the whole month of November, Old Marylebone Town Hall had 200 ceremonies booked and on Wednesday, 27 ceremonies were rearranged, taking place between 8am and 11pm. Jude Arubi and Nandy Luke (above) were one of the last couples to get married before lockdown restrictions began.<br>

Jude said about their last minute wedding: “It got cancelled the first time. It was going to get cancelled again so we had the opportunity and we went for it.” Nandy said: “We did get the call and they were happy to squeeze us in at the last minute so we’re very appreciative about that.”</span></span><br>
