<strong>RESIDENTS VOTE YES FOR AL FRESCO: </strong>Al fresco dining has been a hit with residents and businesses in Westminster. More than 80% of respondents to a recent survey voted in favour of permanent measures remaining beyond 30 September in both Covent Garden and St John’s Wood. Support for the measures along St John’s Wood High Street saw 84% of locals vote to keep the current one-way system. These and the pavement widening with barriers will remain in place until the permanent solution is developed and any such solution will be subject to a full consultation.
