<strong>PROTECTING RESIDENTS AND BUSINESSES FROM FLOODING: </strong>We are taking steps to prepare for and minimise the risk of flooding in the city. In July 2021, Maida Vale was severely impacted by flash flooding caused by extreme rainfall, meaning dozens of residents had to leave their homes while repairs were carried out. We have since worked closely with Thames Water to prepare for future incidents and to ensure residents and businesses are protected. This includes:

<li style="mso-line-height-rule: exactly;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;">Exploring opportunities to slow down surface water runoff by delivering Sustainable Drainage Systems.</li>
