<strong>FREE SCHOOL MEALS CONTINUE:</strong> We are committing £1.56 million to continue our free school lunches programme in nurseries and secondary schools in Westminster. In January 2023, we were one of the first local authorities in the UK to introduce free school lunches for all primary school aged children. In September 2023, due to the Mayor of London’s funding, we extended our support to nurseries and secondary schools. We estimate this support will save a family an estimated £550 per child per year.
