                          Home visiting Corona protocol from the 22nd
February 2022:      Many legislated restrictions have been removed in Wales
and Scotland. England will remove all restrictions from the 24 th February
2022. However Senior Medical Officers and Scientific Advisors are still
urging caution as the virus is still endemic, so we do need to be careful
to minimise the risk of contagion.

 In order to safeguard your family and our vets, we still need to be aware
and be cautious. There are a series of requirements you may need to follow
during the home visit, if requested to do so by the vet:

   - It is sensible to keep the room well ventilated.
  - If requested to do so by the vet, please respect social distancing. Our
vet may wear Personal Protective Wear, such as a face covering, they may
politely request that you do the same.
  - It may be possible to conduct the euthanasia outdoors, which
dramatically reduces the risk of contagion, please speak to the vet who
will advise you if this is possible.
  - When the vet is in your home, please follow their instructions, which
are given to ensure safety for everyone.
  - These requirements are for the safety of everyone attending the
euthanasia, we do all we can to ensure a caring, close and compassionate
goodbye to your pet companion.
 
 Thank you for your understanding and consideration as we hopefully move
toward more recognisable and normal times.

 Your appointment is now booked and the time is not available for other pet
owners. *If you do need to change any of the details please let us know by
phone as soon as possible, *it is not possible to make changes by email or
sms,* (we are open between 7am and 8pm, 7 days a week).* 

 We have a limited number of appointment times available each day, which
means that If you do not give us 24 hours’ notice of your wish to
re-schedule or cancel your appointment, you will unfortunately be charged a
cancellation fee of £150. If the appointment is cancelled 90 minutes
before the appointment time the whole fee will be charged. 

 We politely recommend that your pet does not eat for a minimum of three
hours before the appointment time, this will reduce any risk for nausea,
may we also suggest that you keep your mobile phone with you in case the
vet needs to call you before the visit.
