EBURY BRIDGE: Phase one of our Ebury Bridge regeneration scheme is complete. This milestone has seen the delivering of 226 new high-quality homes with 100 being council owned – the largest to be delivered in South Westminster in 50 years. In the New Year, 90 families will come full circle and move into their new spacious sustainable homes after spending years partnering with us to co-design what Ebury will look like. The scheme has now moved into phase two and once completed overall, 781 homes new homes, with over half designated as council homes for social rent, will be delivered to help fulfil our Fairer Housing commitments.

LUXBOROUGH STREET – 100% AFFORDABLE HOMES FOR WESTMINSTER: We are pleased to announce the completion of 20 Luxborough Street, delivering 14 new homes that are 100% affordable for the community. This includes seven council homes for social rent and seven at London Living Rent levels. Offering a mix of one and two-bedroom units, these will be offered to local people first through a Local Lettings Plan.

GIVING BACK: Every year volunteers help to deliver 800 Christmas hampers to older residents and those with support and care needs across Westminster. This festive season the hampers were generously donated by the Sir Simon Milton Foundation, Virginia Hayward, and Victoria BID – part of the London Heritage Quarter. The Lord Mayor Of Westminster, the Adult Social Care Leadership Team, Cllr Southern and the Leader of the Council, Cllr Hug, joined singer Lucy to spread some festive cheer at care homes across Westminster earlier this afternoon.

TEA DANCE 2024: The annual Sir Simon Milton Tea Dance took place in Westminster last weekend, a much loved yearly event on the calendar for many. Guests were treated to live music, dance performances and as we can see from these photographs, a lot of fun was had dancing! We hope the evening was enjoyed by all and many happy memories were made.
