 Important information regarding your Direct Debit

We are writing to you today because from the 2nd August 2024 you will see a new Direct Debit Instruction on your account, in the name of Simplyhealth, that will replace your existing Direct Debit Instruction. The details of this change will be supplied to your bank, which may also notify you independently. You do not need to do anything.  


Simplyhealth will continue to collect your Direct Debit from the account details you have provided to us, and you will continue to enjoy the full benefits of the Direct Debit Guarantee, as detailed below. 


There will be no changes to the amount, date and monthly frequency of your payments or your existing BACS reference. We will continue to collect the Direct Debit on the date you have chosen as confirmed in your previous advance notice communication, which you will be able to view when you log in to your Simplyhealth online account.


However, if in the future there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your payments, Simplyhealth will let you know three working days in advance prior to the payment due date, in accordance with your new advance notice period.

The Direct Debit Guarantee



	- This Guarantee is offered by banks and building societies that accept instructions to pay Direct Debits.
	- If there are any changes to the amount, date or frequency of your Direct Debit Simplyhealth will notify you 3 working days in advance of your account being debited or as otherwise agreed. If you request Simplyhealth to collect a payment, confirmation of the amount and date will be given to you at the time of request.
	- If an error is made in the payment of your Direct Debit, by Simplyhealth or your bank or building society, you are entitled to a full and immediate refund of the amount paid from your bank or building society - If you receive a refund you are not entitled to, you must pay it back when Simplyhealth asks you to.
	- You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank or building society. Written confirmation may be required. Please also notify us.
