We are delighted to welcome back to campus renowned neuroscientist Dr. Frances Jensen of the University of Pennsylvania’s Perelman School of Medicine. Dr. Jensen will share research on the unique strengths and vulnerabilities of the teenage brain and the interplay of our modern environment at this critical juncture in brain development. She will also share new research on such timely topics as the explosive rise in social media use, the impact of the Covid pandemic on teens and the increase in recreational drug use. Lastly, drawing from her experience as a parent and frequent lecturer to teens, she will share practical strategies to help parents and teens navigate this exciting and challenging time.
