*Why it matters*

Spring 2025 was officially the sunniest on record – and the driest in over a century. And that was soon followed by two heatwaves in June.

As you may have seen, unfortunately, we’ve also had to restrict hosepipe use in some areas.

So it’s a good time to ask you to use your water mindfully whenever you can. Switch to a watering can for your flowers or veg. Grab a bucket instead of a hose when car washing. And turn off the tap whilst you’re brushing your teeth.
